The Coffee House is proud to announce an exciting new position as an Opening Store Manager. The position will involve working in opening our new stores across the North West.

A passion for coffee and people is essential with the ability to be versatile as you will need to travel to new store openings. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager that would like to progress within the coffee industry.

The Coffee House is a chain of independent coffee shops based in the North West. We opened our first store in Lymm village in 2011 and have been continuing to grow the business ever since. We are a forward thinking company, priding ourselves on new and innovative ways of working. We bring passion, individuality and quality to all of our stores. Responsibilities

As a Store Opening Manager you will be working closely with the operations team in the build up to a new store opening, you will also be working closely with the Store manager once the store is open to make sure it is running efficiently. You will ensure that the daily trade and store operations are performed to an excellent standard, that customer service is exceptional and the team are trained to a very high standard.

DUTIES

Manage and execute the operational setup of new stores

Working closely with the hiring manager to conduct phone and group interviews

Coaching and training of all new staff

To work closely with the operations team in the months leading up to the store opening

To work closely with the Store Manager in the months after the store has opened

To attend meetings set out by Operations/Directors

Day to day management and general running of the store

To take full responsibility for the store as a whole

Reporting store performance and financials

Ensure all company policies and processes are adhered to

Implement any changes set out by the company

To work across the North West opening our stores

To stay in a store until the manager and staff are fully trained

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain excellent customer relations and to constantly strive to improve customer service in line with Coffee House values and behaviours

Preparation and/or service of food and beverages in line with Coffee House standards

To work within EHO, COSHH and Health and Safety Guidelines

All work to be carried out with a customer focused attitude, providing excellent customer service with a proactive work ethic

Must have a flexible approach to working

To have an understanding about the products we sell so you can confidently advise our customers and staff

To report any issues that may arise to the operations team

To undertake any other duties that may be required from you while working for The Coffee House

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

*

*

Ideally from the hospitality/retail background.

Strong Managerial experience

Worked in a fast paced customer service environment.

Exceptional customer service and listening skills.

Passionate about people and can work in a team.

Barista experience is a plus but don’t worry you will receive training on this.

Enthusiastic with a proactive attitude.

Hours: Full time 40+ hours per week, must be able to work weekends and be available to respond to store emergencies.

Driving Licence is essential

Benefits:

£25,000

40+ hour contract per week.

5.6 Weeks Annual Leave
