About the role 

Our marketing department plays a pivotal role in the success of our brand. The marketing manager will report directly in to the Managing Director. The right person will bring their experience to develop and execute best in class marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, strengthen brand equity, and drive business growth. You will build and protect The Coffee House brand through our online and in store presence. 

About us 

Founded by two brothers in 2011, The Coffee House was born from a passion for creating a premium coffee shop experience that transforms the way people eat, drink and relax within their local community.

We take pride in remaining an independent chain, roasting all our coffee in-house and baking and preparing our products at our central facilities in Warrington, delivering fresh to our stores daily.

As we aim to reach 40 stores by the end of 2025, we are excited to expand our team and are seeking a creative and proactive Marketing Manager. This pivotal role will shape the future of our brand and enhance our connection with customers in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities

Generate a deep understanding of our ideal customer to bring actionable insights and be the champion of the brand and consumer in the business.

Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

Conduct trend forecasting, market research, and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, identifying key takeaways and sharing best practices with the team.

Analysing the commercial return of marketing activity and clearly delivering insights to both the marketing team and SLT.

Being the go to person internally for all things Marketing.

Establishing a sustainable meeting schedule that supports the collaboration of all cross functional teams.

Being a key part of our Growth Team to support the business’ ambitious growth plans.

Have a commercial focus and be ready to make an impact from day one.

Create marketing activity plans for all products and services.

Manage a team of diverse skillsets to encourage focus, growth and development.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven track record and understanding of managing a marketing team in a similar size enterprise.

An insatiable appetite for solutions.

Must have a hands-on approach to management. 

Full UK driving licence. 

Excellent project management and organisational skills

Strong communication & presentation skills, able to engage teams at all levels

Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy.
