The Coffee House

We are looking for someone to join an exciting business who began its story in 2011 in the small Cheshire village of Lymm. Two brothers who oozed passion and with a strong vision to change the way people Eat, Drink and Relax, opened their first coffee house that made great coffee and served a small, classic menu which was made with local produce. Today, The Coffee House is established in 8 communities (and counting), serving thousands of people every week with a substantial range of products which has over quadrupled over the years. The Coffee House has a family of employees who have been chosen as they demonstrate the behaviours and qualities we need to succeed in developing the business and continuously ensure excellent customer service is delivered to our customer.

Roles and Responsibilities

This position is based in our Warehouse in Irlam and is the central hub for the business. The objective of the warehouse is to serve and support our wider operations, ensuring that we deliver a high quality service at all times. The Pickers receive orders from our stores, pick and pack the products ready for the drivers.

  • Using technology via an ipad, receive orders from stores
  • Picking for our network of stores in preparation for the evening delivery
  • Help identify issues with stock shortages, by flagging any shortages to the Warehouse Manager
  • Accuracy is key at all times.
  • Clean and tidy the warehouse ensuring it remains a safe environment.
  • Be aware and be compliant of all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements for the role:**

  • Flexibility - the working hours are 1pm - 6pm on a shift basis scheduled in advance including weekends.
  • Reliability is a key attribute for this role.
  • Good Attention to detail, and confident with following processes.
  • A team player who is organised, efficient and pro active.
  • Experience of a Picker/packer would be advantageous but we would provide any training required for the right candidate. This is a growing role, so there is potential for more hours in the future.
