About the Role

As our Bakery Team Leader, you'll work closely with the Bakehouse Manager to oversee the daily running of the bakery. From ensuring top-quality products to supporting the team and maintaining smooth operations, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional bakery experience.  

Key Responsibilities  

Operations Management 

- Assist with production schedules, stock management, and supply orders to keep everything running smoothly.  

- Ensure all baked goods meet our quality standards in taste, presentation, and consistency.  

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, following health and safety regulations.  

- Collaborate with the warehouse and central kitchen to meet daily output needs.  

Team Leadership

- Support in recruiting, training, and supervising the bakery team to create a positive, productive workplace.  

- Ensure all team members understand and adhere to health and safety guidelines.  

Product Development

- Stay informed about market trends and customer preferences to recommend menu improvements.  

- Assist in developing new menu items, especially for seasonal celebrations like Easter and Christmas.  

Customer Focus

- Respond to guest and store manager feedback to ensure our baked goods consistently exceed expectations.
