We have a new central facility in Warrington housing our Warehouse, Cookhouse, Bake House, and Roastery. This role will be working within the Cookhouse team, supporting our kitchen staff with the day to day task of running a kitchen.
Job purpose:
Working alongside the Kitchen Production Manager you will produce high quality and large volumes of products for our stores across the North of England. Using ingredients which are sourced from local and independent suppliers who support the local economy but also ensure we receive fresh, high quality produce.
You must be able to work well under pressure, produce work to the highest of standards and have an eye for detail and quality.
Responsibilities
To produce good quality products which are delivered to all our stores overnight.
This role is split into producing fresh produce, organising and making products in mass production, preparing and packing products ready for stores on a daily basis
Produce current fresh product range to an excellent standard
Carry out production tasks set out for you by your Kitchen Manager
Ensure safe food preparation and service, the correct storage & labelling of food and produce products to the recipe specifications provided.
To be a good communicator within the business.
Clean thoroughly always and ensure routine cleaning is completed
Compliance to food hygiene and safety standards is paramount. We pride ourselves on quality and control.
To use all equipment and machinery safely and maintain it in good condition.
To use all the systems and processes set out by the company.
To record all relevant checks and information on our iauditor system
To open and close the kitchen by following all guidelines set out.
Experience Required
Previous experience working in a production environment would be advantageous but not necessary as full training is given.
Working Hours
We have various 15/20 hour contracts availble, you will need to be fully flexible to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends.
