Role: Team Leader

Rate of Pay: Up to £12.51 per hour

Contract available: Permanent, Minimum 30 hours per week

The Coffee House is proud to announce an exciting new position as a Team Leader in our coffee shop, based in Skelmersdale. The store provides a fun, yet busy and relaxed environment for everyone.

The Coffee House is a chain of independent coffee shops based across the North West of England and North Staffordshire, We opened our first store in Lymm village in 2011 with the vision to change the way people eat, drink and relax and have been continuing to grow the business ever since! We are a forward thinking company, priding ourselves on new and innovative ways of working. We bring passion, individuality and quality to all of our stores. We have a vision for growth, but want to maintain our independent values and continue to aim to be everyone’s ‘go to’ coffee brand.

Cookhouse: All of our products are handcrafted in our newly built production kitchen every day to ensure our guests get the best possible products, using ingredients that are specially selected from local and independent suppliers.

About you

As a Team Leader you will be the face of our brand and ensure that you give an exceptional guest experience and represent the brand by promoting all of the company's core values. Ideally you will have supervisory experience from a hospitality background and have a forward thinking approach to problem solving and identifying areas for improvement in your store.

What you will bring:

You will provide an exceptional and genuine guest experience for everyone and ensure you follow our vision of changing the way everyone eats, drinks and relaxes, whether that be ensuring we greet all our guests with big hello’s the moment they walk in or recommending your favourite product for someone to try.

You will ensure our standards around product quality and store cleanliness remain excellent.

You will need to have a strong understanding about the products that we sell in order to confidently advise our guest

Ensure high levels of safety and care in mind when using company equipment.

To undertake any other duties that may be required from you while you work for The Coffee House, which could include opening and closing stores where required.

The Roles & Responsibilities

The role of a team leader is to support the store manager in leading the team, run an effective shift and ensure all our team are ensuring the guest experience is the top priority. You will also be responsible for supporting the store manager in training and developing the team to our high standards.

To be a key holder in the company.

To ensure high levels of personal hygiene.

Process our daily orders in line with the company guidelines.

Maintaining standards around product quality and store cleanliness.

Ensure high levels of safety and care in mind when using company equipment.

To undertake any other duties that may be required from you while you work for The Coffee House.

The Ideal Candidate:

Must have a flexible schedule as we require our team leaders to work a range of shifts between Monday and Sunday.

Barista experience is a plus but don’t worry you will receive training on this.
