The Coffee House has been a beloved part of the local community since 2011, and we are excited to announce an opportunity to lead our sleek daytime eatery located in the heart of Lymm village. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced General Manager to join our dynamic team.
Our unique store offers a vibrant atmosphere where customers can enjoy exceptional food and beverages crafted with care. As our General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. You’ll oversee daily operations, manage a talented team, and maintain our high standards of quality and hospitality.
This position requires a commitment of five days a week, over seven days.For motivated and proactive individuals eager to excel, this is a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional development within a dynamic and supportive environment.

About you

As General Manager you will be the face of the brand and you will ensure that the daily trade and store operations are performed to an excellent standard, that the guest experience is exceptional and your team are trained to a very high specifications. Ideally you will have supervisory experience from a hospitality background and have a forward thinking approach to problem solving and identifying areas for improvement in your store.

You will have an eye for the details, ensuring we are safe and compliant at all times.
You will need to have a strong understanding of how to develop a team.
Role & Responsibilities
The role of a General Manager is to ensure that the team and store are aligned with our vision and values, this means to ensure that everyone is focused on the guests and ensuring we are providing the best service we can.
To train the team and monitor their performance.
Providing excellent customer service.
Leading by example.
Liaising with the kitchen team to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction are paramount.
Monitor staff performance, document and challenge poor performance and appraise staff using our company tools.
Positively impact and drive store performance through exceptional team leadership.
Visibility and accountability for store agreed budget and P&L
Liaising with our recruitment team to attract and select new talent.
Conduct weekly reports, on time and accurately.
Effective stock management.
Own the responsibility of staff scheduling.
Adhere to the company standards ensuring all products sold meet the company specs and brand standards.
To take responsibility for the store as a whole.
To attend meetings set out by the Directors/Operations Manager.
To ensure the store is meeting all of the food hygiene standards set out by HACCP.
Participate in local marketing initiatives.
